Meet Niki Worthan, MA, LAC, Owner, Therapist, Survivor, and Imperfect Human
My name is Niki Worthan. I am a Master's level Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC) and Mental Health, trauma, and victim services provider. I have a Bachelor's degree in Human Services (Mental Health Counseling concentration) from MSU Denver, a Master's Degree in Psychology from Regis University, and a second Master's program in Clinical Counseling. I have been certified as Victim Advocate and Victim Services Provider, helping people recover from trauma and violence. I have been in this field for 14 years and am a member in good standing with the American Counseling Association (ACA), a Board Associate member of the American Society for Addiction Medicine (ASAM), and a member in good standing with National Association of Addiction Professionals (NAADAC) My passion is working with addiction, substance use disorders, and co-occurring disorders, such as those who suffer from anxiety, depression, and any other mental health disorder that can make you feel hopeless and isolated from the real you and from society. I also work with families and couples who are struggling with communication, conflict, and hardships. I am open to discuss whatever comes up for you or whatever you feel you need relief from. I am here to help!
